Photo Journal 2004

This photo journal from 2004 is one of my favorite projects before I made the switch from shooting film to digital. 35mm slide film was my go-to setup back then in addition to shooting some B&W and cross-processed film. The journal shows a different perspective on surfing with a more abstract view on surf breaks compared to the glossy action photos seen in surf magazines at the time. The page layouts explored my interest in design, collage and hand drawn type. It was fun and personal project to create right before the whole world went digital.
